“Donald's Award” Production Background (1957) - ID: may24162

A production background from the Disney Studios series "Walt Disney's Disneyland" (1954-1958). Featuring a gorgeous wooded landscape with a meadow of flowers, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The background is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode titled "Donald's Award" which aired on March 27, 1957. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" overall, the background is in very good condition with minor discoloration, adhesive residue and staining to the reverse, edge and corner wear, and pinholes through the corners from studio use.
