X-Men The Phoenix Saga, Part III: Cry of the Banshee Matching Black Tom Production Cel and Background (1994) - ID: jul24033

A multi-layer matching production cel and background from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Black Tom Cassidy counting his money, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both pieces create an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "The Phoenix Saga, Part III: Cry of the Banshee," which aired on September 7, 1994. Measuring 10.25"x14" overall, with the character image measuring 4.75"x4.25", the cel and background are in very good condition. The cel displays minor surface wear, slight line wear, adhesive residue across the bottom edge of one cel layer, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the cel paint from studio use and storage. The background shows minor edge and corner wear.
