A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a dynamic image of Gambit while engaged in a fight with Fabian Cortez, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Sanctuary, Part II," which aired on October 28, 1995. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.25"x7.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, light surface wear, minimal black line fade, and paper backing stuck to the reverse from studio use and storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
